REI and tpt invite you to a special event to celebrate the new Ken Burns documentary, National Parks: America's Best Idea.
There will be information from local parks on planning trips, volunteering, special programs, and the cultural and natural history of our region's parks. Several tpt documentaries will be shown including: Minnesota's National Park Legacy (1:30pm), Parks for the People (2:15pm), and The Untold Stories Project — a five part mini-documentary series produced in conjunction with the Ken Burns series.
Attendees will be entered to win great prizes including the full 6 DVD set of National Parks: America's Best Idea. Refreshments will be served.
